Holiday Weekend

We had a busy and fun holiday weekend!! We started with the Wyandotte 4th of July Parade. We had great seats with our friends. Brooks and Lainey liked the motorcycles and bands, but mostly the free candy.
On Saturday we had Brooks Birthday Party. We had a wet and wild party. The kids ran through the sprinklers, threw waterballoons, sprayed each other with squirt guns, ate pizza and cupcakes, and opened presents. It was a blast!
We also enjoyed a traditon of going to the Lake Erie MetroPark on the 5th to see the Fireworks with friends. We have found the best spot to watch the fireworks. We went early, played at the park, ate dinner, and watched fireworks. It was a great show and a fun evening.

On Sunday Brooks turned 4. We are so blessed to have him in our family. He is such a sweet and smart little guy. He is so good to his sister. He plays with her and shares all his toys with her. He loves him Mom, but really loves his Dad. He loves playing computer and helping Mom and Dad make cookies. He practices writing his letters and numbers and enjoys reading books. We can't believe it has been four years since our little guy came to our family. We love him so much!
