Spring Fever

We still hoping for some warm weather to hit Michigan. There have been a few days of warmth, but the long, grey-skied Michigan winter lingers on, and on,... and on. For me (Dan) residency is going well. I really enjoy what I'm learning, doing, and the people I work with. I'm lucky that I have time to spend with the family. We are all anxious to get out of the house. We finally got around to buying some bicycles after I found a kiddie trailer someone down the street was giving away. We haven't ridden them yet due to the weather, but they look like a lot of fun. Angie continues to work with the primary kids at church and teach her dance classes during the week. She is excited that we just got a new (used) minivan! (I am too). We really like it. Now, if we could get rid of the Jeep. Any takers? The kids just get bigger all the time. Brooks loves letters and numbers. The potty training is coming along better now that he knows it's not a cowboy hat. Brooks had a great Easter. This year we caught the Easter Bunny in action. And, the next morning he got to look for the surprises the bunny had left. Lainey has been walking for about 10 days now. She's all over the place. She loves to laugh and makes us laugh all the time. Before she was walking, she would use this section of train as a walker and push it all over the house. Now she just goes without assistance. We were able to visit with Jan Jacobson and see Jan and Justin's son Ross over Easter weekend. We met up in Kirtland, OH, while visiting some church history sites. He is 2 weeks younger than Lainey.

I believe that you were one of those that gave me a hard time many years back when I broke down and purchased a minivan.
