Wow! What a busy summer. We had been doing so much I didn't really have time to post much. We are all doing well in Michigan. Brooks is back to his old self and Lainey is practically talking, but still only five teeth. We moved in July to an island in the Detroit river called Grosse Ile. We love our new house and love living on the island!
Lainey is 18 months now and brooks is almost 3 1/2 and has started pre-school. I have less than 20 months until I'm finished with residency and can move on to full practice. Angie is still teaching dance twice a week, serving as primary president and taking great care of the children.
Alaina was a "Lainey-bug" and Brooks was Diego.
This was taken during our late summer camping trip.
Brooks spent Labor Day Weekend in the hospital recovering from surgery to drain an abscess in in lower leg. He was on antibiotics for 6 weeks afterward. He is doing fine now. When he asks about the scar I tell him that we had some bionic equipment put in to help him run faster and kick harder. We don't know how he got the infection. He was just limping more and more.

Poor Brooks. I am glad that he got it taken care of. I love your pictures. Your kids are really growing up fast. I must say I am very envious that you only have 20 months left of residency. I ideas where you will go from here?

Jonathan had a great time working with Dan and everyone at the Derm office.
